EurotaxGlass's attains Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status, recognising expertise in Microsoft technologies

Start Date: 5/4/2006

EurotaxGlass’s has attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program, recognising expertise with Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to meet customers’ needs. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a broad range of benefits including access to Microsoft’s latest technologies, giving them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

EurotaxGlass’s has been making significant investment in new product software development over recent months and years, much of it focusing on the way its automotive data is accessed and deployed. This effort led to the launch in March 2006 of Glass’s WebServices, which allows customers to access EurotaxGlass’s information (such as used car valuations) and intelligent components (such as the ability to adjust a valuation automatically for mileage) via the internet, and incorporate them seamlessly and flexibly within their own computer system or website.

“Achieving Gold Certified Partner status emphatically underlines our expertise with business-critical software applications and data, and demonstrates the strength of our relationship with Microsoft,” said Kelly Waters, Chief Technology Officer at EurotaxGlass’s. “The benefits provided through the Microsoft Partner Program will help us continue enhancing our technology products and services, utilising new technologies to deliver further business efficiencies for our customers.”

Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft Corp, comments, “Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities. They need to trust businesses that can act as expert advisers for their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies.”

As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Status, EurotaxGlass’s had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry. The EurotaxGlass’s competencies are in Networking Infrastructure Solutions and ISV (Independent Software Vendor)/Software Solutions.

“We place tremendous value on our partners, who help us deliver solutions and applications to customers,” said Watson. “Solution Competency provides an integrated partnering framework that recognises an enterprise’s expertise and rewards it for the effect it has in the technology marketplace. It also allows companies to demonstrate to customers their knowledge of building software solutions based on Microsoft technologies.”

The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in October 2003 and represents an ongoing commitment to the success of its partners worldwide.
