Technical Data

Glass's Technical Data is available in a raw data format for inclusion in your in-house system. The data available includes the ICME Repair Times & Service Schedules, as well as technical capacities and quantities, including manufacturers retail parts prices.

All Data is sourced directly from manufacturers, and continuously updated. ICME Labour Times provide times for over 680 common repair items and the Service Schedules data details service schedules, intervals, times, operations and mandatory service parts. The original equipment parts data includes both retail part prices, and manufacturer part numbers for the most common servicing and repair mechanical parts and fluids. The data also provides details of technical specifications such as oil and brake fluid capacity. This information can be used, along with a labour rate and a parts discount rate, to provide full service and repair costs in accordance with manufacturer recommendation, which can also be incorporated into maintenance forecasting calculations.

In summary Glass's technical data provides comprehensive and accurate data for:

  • Which mandatory parts are required for the service

Since developing these data sets we have rapidly built a strong reputation for our data, and many of the major Fleet companies now rely on Glass's data to effectively control many aspects of fleet management. Customers currently using Glass's Technical Data include Lex Vehicle Leasing, Motability, GE Capital Fleet Services, and WHA (Warranty Holdings), as well as Unipart who utilise the data within their KIS System. The ICME data is also supplied to Lex Autocentres, Translease Repairers, BT Workshops and AA Workshops, plus thousands of other workshops across the UK.
